SYNOPSIS Joy is well known to Oxford Scribes as a freelance calligrapher with a particular expertise in the copperplate script. She last visited us in June 2021 when she taught a workshop on square pattern Celtic Knotwork.
This workshop will complement her previous workshop and will explore the triangular and circular methods of Celtic Knotwork using simple and easy to follow geometry. Joy will take us step by step through the design process, starting with the simplest triangular knot and building up into circular patterns.
