Oxford Scribes is a calligraphy society, based in Oxford, but with an international membership.  

We hold evening meetings and Saturday workshops, hold exhibitions - not only in Oxford and Oxfordshire but often in other places, such as Stratford-upon-Avon.

There are weekday visits to interesting places - often they are behind-the-scenes or buildings not usually open to the public. 

We publish The Newsletter, our magazine, detailing our activities and containing articles written by respected members of the calligraphy profession.
